For many years Astra International Inc. has been present in carrying out complex projects in the country and abroad. For many years we have successfully dealt with design, production and the building in of all kinds of glass facades and adjustable sunbreakers on the state-of-the-art buildings throughout Croatia. In cooperation with Italian manufacturer of glass facades – Clima and a manufacturer of adjustable sunbreakers – Naco as well as Croatian producer AR-CO Aluminij, we gave many buildings a touch of uniqueness. We are especially proud of the semi- structural facade of HG Spot, Zagreb, the spider facade of the glass elevator in the Hoto Business Tower, Zagreb, the spider facade of the Tobacco Factory, Rovinj in Kanfanar and the Eye Clinic Svjetlost in Zagreb.

On airport activities where we specialized in airfield lighting system, and to our previous references such as the construction of the airfield lighting system for ZL Tuzla, ZL Osijek and ZL Lošinj, we added the project of airfield lighting system upgrade for Zadar Airport in 2006.

In 2006 we made a breakthrough into the area of ecology. We signed a contract and started the construction of the mechanical-biological plant for waste water treatment with the capacity of 100,000 equivalents for the city of Koprivnica.It was successfully completed in the first half of 2007 as well as the warranty period in 2009. Because of the technological performance and the applied technical solutions, it is currently the most modern waste water treatment plant in Croatia. In addition, as a consortium partner, we take part in the construction of the waste water treatment in Đurđevac.

Long-lasting investment in the development of technical solutions for mobile systems of sprinkler irrigation has paid off in the continuous project constructions over the past three years. Together with the world most prestigious firm in the specified area, Valmont from the USA - the machine producer, we developed complete solutions for the use of machines and the construction of the water and power supply infrastructure. Over the past three years we have designed, delivered the equipments, installed and handed over 10 systems covering more than 1000 hectares in the region of East Slavonija and Vojvodina. We have become qualified to offer optimal solution to any future client, solution that is compatible with the shape of their fields, crops that are going to be grown on it and availability of water and power supply sources.
